The Course

This course contains four videos and a cognitive restructuring worksheet. The course deconstructs the dysfunctional, unconscious belief, "What other people think is more important than what you think or know to be true." The videos were originally featured on a FB live series by Anneshia Freeman a master-level therapist. The videos are no longer available on Ms. Freeman's social media pages and are only available via this course.

Understanding the significance of recognizing and challenging the belief about other people's opinions is crucial in developing self-confidence and self-esteem. Many individuals struggle with the fear of judgment and criticism from others, leading to self-doubt and insecurity. By acknowledging and addressing these beliefs, individuals can regain control over their thoughts and emotions.

Recognizing the impact of other people's opinions also plays a key role in personal growth and self-improvement. By learning to differentiate between constructive feedback and baseless criticism, individuals can focus on their own values and goals without being swayed by external influences. Challenging negative beliefs about other people's opinions empowers individuals to trust their own judgment and pursue their passions with confidence.

What you will learn

The video series, and the accompany worksheet/questionnaire, will assist people in understanding why they ruminate about the thoughts of others. The belief that is deconstructed in the videos, and with the worksheet/questionnaire, is unconscious. It's hard to fight an invisible enemy.

During the first video, Anneshia Freeman discusses how the dysfunctional belief is programmed into people's minds. The remaining three videos takes viewers through a cognitive restructuring worksheet/questionnaire that deconstruct the belief "What other people think is more important than what you think or know to be true."

Ms. Freeman has used this cognitive restructuring tool with people for years. People have stated repeated, "I will never think the same about the thoughts of others. Other people's thoughts are OPP - Other People's Property!"
